Lucien Le Moine is a boutique negociant house established by a Lebanon couple in 1999. After two decades of work, they are amongst the most prominent Burgundy producers, acclaimed for some of the most sought after wines in the world. Quality but not quantity - The winery produces only Premier Crus and Grand Crus from Burgundy with a conscious limit of 100 barrels. Lucien Le Moine presents classy and elegant Burgundy wine with smooth tannin, rich flavours and complicated structure in a distinctive natural style, no fined, no filtrated and no additives.
Tasting Note:Bright, medium ruby-red. Very ripe, slightly high-toned nose combines expressive rocky minerality with hints of flowers and white fruits. Communicates an impression of relaxed tension on the palate, showing a very smooth grain, considerable soil-driven complexity and a surprising light touch. Not a particularly thick or fruity style but perfumed and alive. This sophisticated, spicy wine finishes with perfectly buffered tannins and superb energy and rising length.
