Dom Perignon 2005
Rating: James Suckling 97, Robert Parker 93
Tasting note: The 2005 Dom Pérignon is starting to enter its first plateau of maturity, where the aromas and flavors show the early signs of the development that takes place over time in bottle. Apricot, candied orange peel, dried flowers, mint and pineapple are nicely delineated in the glass. Soft and silky on the palate, the 2005 is quite welcoming and inviting.
Dom Perignon 2006
Rating: James Suckling 97, Robert Parker 96
Tasting note: A graceful, minerally version, featuring rich notes of smoke, mandarin orange peel and chalk that lead to subtle accents of crème de cassis, toasted almond, espresso and star anise on the fine, creamy mousse. Seamlessly knit, with citrusy acidity leaving a mouthwatering impression on the finish. Dom Perignon 2009
Rating: James Suckling 97, Decanter 96
Tasting note: Generous, elegant and full of pleasure, there's lots of complexity in this curvy wine. It has a rich creaminess with minerals, chalky depth and a round mouthfeel. Flavours of cox’s apple, soy, gentle ginger spice, sweet patisserie and cappuccino are joined by a fine and persistent acidity. Profound length.
